Are you interested in learning Literature as an independent student, achieving better results in your IB test or improving your overall performance in class?
The aim of this course is to assist IB exam-sitters or independent students in their literary studies during a personalized one-hour session. Various types of works will be studied, key concepts on literary analysis will be discussed and analytical skills will be practiced rigorously. Works by famous literary critics will be provided in order to help the student develop and perfect the required methodology.
If the student is preparing for an IB test, he or she will be encouraged to focus on a selection of five literary texts from the fixed reading list (two corresponding to the comparative essay, two related to the oral presentation and one pertaining the 1500-word required essay).
